San Diego Zoo

We took a little family trip at the beginning of February to San Diego.  I was in the area for work Monday-Wednesday and Mike and Olivia flew in on Thursday to start the vacation.  We spent ALL DAY on Friday at The San Diego Zoo and it was wonderful.  By all day, I mean we got there at 8:55am right before it opened and left around 4:00pm.  That's what happens when your preschooler's little brain is two hours ahead and she wakes up at 5:30am local time.  First stop when we arrived at the zoo - stroller.  Giving Olivia a place to sit whenever she wanted was the only way we were able to make it that long and see everything that we (Mike and I!) wanted to see.  We got some great animal pics thanks to my fancy camera phone.  I only wish I'd documented what each animal was.  Enjoy -
