I am soooo behind on blog posts! I want to write posts about stuff that happened this summer but am going to keep them brief so as not to get even further behind. In mid-July (yes, I said July!) we went to Big Bounce in Leander for Olivia's friend Kennedi's 2nd birthday party. Now until that day, I feared everything that had anything to do with bouncy houses and it was with new mother dread that I RSVPd to this party. All I pictured when I thought of bouncy house establishment where kids with snotty noses wiping their germs all over everything my daughter was going to touch and then accidentally knocking her down and making her cry. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be but still not somewhere I will frequent on a regular basis.
First time in the bouncy house. Keep in mind that this was a couple of months ago and Olivia wasn't even close to walking yet.
Mommy let go! Um, no.
In some of the areas for smaller kids, there were corners that had a little bit of a wall that separated her from the "big" kids. It still didn't stop them from coming over to see her but made Mommy feel better.
