Last day of work
I left the office this afternoon for the last time for 100 days! Definitely bitter sweet for me. I really enjoy my job and will miss all the people that I work with. On the other hand, I am now one step closer to becoming a Mommy. Baby Robinson has full permission to arrive whenever she wants to now that I have everything wrapped up with work. If she does hold off for a week or so, it's going to be very weird not going to work every morning, what ever will I do with my time?? Mike and I have worked so hard to get everything ready for the little munchkin that I don't really have any organizing to do but I'm sure I'll find SOME way to "nest". Goodbye to Microsoft for now, I'll miss you but I'll be back!

Welcome to our blog
I've been meaning to start a blog for a while now, so . . . here we go. Baby Robinson is about to make her grand entrance in the next couple of weeks and I hope to be able to keep the family up to date with what is going on in her little life from Day 1. Since we found out we were expecting in the middle of December, I have been blessed with a very easy pregnancy and can honestly say that I've enjoyed (almost) all of it. Mike and I took a trip to England at the end of March with my Mom at which point I was about 5 months along and still figuring the whole thing out. A few weeks later, I was able to feel our little munchkin's movements on a daily basis and shortly after that Daddy was able to feel them as well. We coasted through the rest of my 2nd trimester and into my 3rd. It's only been in the last couple of weeks that it's gotten HOT Texas style and I've been a little uncomfortable. At our 37 week appointment (a week ago) Dr. Reich told us that I was quite far advanced for a first time Mom and that there was a strong possibility that we would not make it to our due date of August 11th. My last day of work at Microsoft is tomorrow and after that, Miss Robinson can arrive any time she wants. Her nursery is done, little clothes are washed, carseat is installed and we are ready to go!!
