We got to our seats with a huge tub of what we hoped would be distraction popcorn. Although we resisted the urge to wear burnt orange to the game, I did sneak in this picture and got some funny looks in the process. You will notice that Olivia is wearing a maroon Aggies shirt that the Turners got her. I told Jamie (my cousin) that I would not purchase anything maroon for Olivia but if they did, I would let her wear it while we were in town.
The distraction popcorn was not hugely successful and Mike spent much of the game walking around the outside of the arena with Olivia. He did discover that Olivia likes to drink from water fountains and because she can say and sign "water", I believe they stopped at every single one. This picture makes me cringe because it's a reminder that Mr. Rabby is constantly being dragged along the floor.
A special treat lollipop bought us a few minutes in the stands.
Mike was nice enough to take Olivia for her little walks so that I could actually watch the girls dance. Unfortunately, he is the photographer of the family so I didn't get any really good pictures of them. I don't know how to work his fancy shmancy camera but they are in there somewhere!
Hmmmm, what's that?!
Pom poms!!

Not letting go of these pom poms!

I am guilty of only posting pictures of Olivia where she is smiling or doing something cute. She is definitely not smiling or doing anything cute in this picture but it's a good shot of everyone else so in the blog it goes.

A cute family shot . . . complete with Mr. Rabby
She let the pom poms go for long enough to climb up into this chair and take a few pictures.
We stayed the night with Jamie and Jerry who recently bought a great house in College Station - they live in Houston. Jerry cooked steaks and we had a wonderful time catching up. Olivia had been sick the week before and was generally anti-social, which I felt bad about. That's probably the biggest reason I don't have any pictures from when we were actually at the house :-)
See ya later College Station!
